AMBASSADOR DAVID ADEMOLA ADEJUWON

Amb David Adejuwon is a retired Federal Civil Servant/ Entrepreneur.

He graduated from University of Ibadan with Bsc Hons in Economics in 1980; Served the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in the defunct Nigerian Palm Produce Board, Calabar in 1980/81.

He joined the Nigeria Federal Civil Service in September, 1981 as a Commercial Officer on GL 08 and was posted to the then Federal Ministry of Commerce where he rose to the position of Director (Commercial), GL 17 in 2010.

He served as a Special Assistant to Honourable Minister of State for Agriculture and Rural Development from 2003 to 2007; Principal Officer (Admin), Office of the Vice President, State House from 2007 to 2009; Director, Trade Department, Federal Ministry of Industry Trade and Investment from 2010 to 2013. He organised the first Nigeria USA Business Fora in Atlanta, Houston and Chicago in 2010 and was the Chairman, Organising Committee of the first Nigeria Oil and Gas Summit held in Onne, Rivers State in 2012; Chairman, Federal Task Force on Trade Facilitation in Nigeria from 2010 to 2013; Chairman, Technical Committee on Establishment of Okerete Transnational Border Market and Corridor Development in Oyo State from 2010 to 2013.

He attended several local and international training programmes and participated in several business fora, international trade and investment conferences, trade missions, seminars, symposia, workshops, international trade fairs, expositions Coordinated Nigeria's participation in Shanghai Expo 2010 and Yeosu Expo 2012) and roadshows in Africa, Middle East, Europe, America, Asia, Australia; participated in several Bilateral, Regional, Plurilateral and Multilateral trade negotiations.

He was appointed Nigeria Ambassador to the World Trade Organisation, Geneva, Switzerland on merit in July 2013.

He Served on the Board of Nigeria Customs Service, Nigeria Export Import Bank; Consumers Protection Council; Lagos International Trade Fair Complex Management Board; National Institute of Marketing in Nigeria.

He was Chairman, Qatar Nigerian Business Council LLC, Doha; President and initiator of Coalition for Social, Economic and Industrial Development of Oke Ogun (COSEIDOO), a registered high profile elites socio-economic development advocacy group and Advocacy for Oke Ogun Zone Advancement (AFOZA), a duly registered socio-political development advocacy group. He's the initiator and President of Hybrid Culture,Technology and Innovation Promotion Initiative.

He holds a Honourary High Chieftaincy tittle of Otun Aare Akorewolu of Saki land.

His area of Economic Interest are: Agriculture, agro-processing, commerce, mining, construction, renewable energy.

He's the Chairman/CEO Magdavies Nigeria Limited that is into commercial farming on a 500 hectares of farmland in Saki, Oyo State, Nigeria cultivating Cassava, Soya beans, Maize, Rice, Cashew and Oil Palm.

The company also acquired a 200 hectares parcel of land with massive high quality rock deposit in Saki, Oyo State for quarry production and planting of tree crops. Foreign partners/investors with the right technology to establish and operate the quarry are welcome

He's also the Managing Director/CEO of Magdavies Agro Industrial company Limited, Oje Owode, Saki West Local Government Area, Oyo State. Registered in 2022 as aggregator and processor of Cashew nuts, Soya beans, Rice, Maize, Cassava, Shea butter, Cocoa. The company has constructed a 1,500 square meter warehousing facility on an over 7,000 square meters piece of land in Saki East local government area of Oyo State.

He is married with four children.
